Curtis Luck<\/a> has enjoyed a day to remember at the Australian\ufeff PGA Championships<\/a>, nailing a hole-in-one at Royal Queensland's party hole, except there was no party to celebrate his feat.<\/p>\n

Luck provided the highlight of the tournament so far, drilling a 125-metre shot straight in on the 17th hole, however there were barely any fans on site due to the Aussie's incredibly early tee time of 6.50am AEST.<\/p>\n

"Once I saw it land, I was pretty confident it was going to stick pretty close and then obviously I think it might have just spun back a little bit back in the hole. Pretty electric stuff."<\/p>\n

The downside was the fact that the incredible shot came in front of almost no one due to Luck's early tee time on Friday morning, and he lamented the lack of fanfare.<\/p>\n

"You can talk to the PGA of Australia about giving me that tee time," he joked when asked about missing out on achieving the feat in front of what would have otherwise been a raucous crowd.<\/p>\n

"It wasn't too busy being earlier this morning, so there weren't many people out there and I don't think anyone got it on camera which sucks \u2026 (but) the immediate rush of adrenaline kicks in, and I think I nearly broke my playing partner's hand."\ufeff<\/p>\n
