Nikita Tszyu<\/a> has admitted he thought back to his brother Tim's fight against Terrell Gausha<\/a> when he was knocked down by Dylan Biggs.<\/p>\n

Biggs made an explosive start to the pair's super welterweight title bout, knocking Tszyu down in the opening seconds, before Tszyu steadied, eventually running out a winner via TKO.<\/p>\n

Tszyu admitted he was "rocked" by Biggs' shot, which knocked him down as the Newcastle crowd went berserk.<\/p>\n

He revealed he thought about his older brother's fight against Gausha last year, where Tim Tszyu recovered from an early knockdown to claim a unanimous decision win\ufeff.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffH\ufeffe (Biggs) caught me with a shot that I just didn't see," he said.<\/p>\n

\"Nikita<\/p>\n

"\ufeffI'm surprised that I kind of recovered in the time that I did. From the very start, that kind of punch was something to fear and something to watch out for. He was dangerous from the very start.<\/p>\n

"As soon as I was getting up off the canvas, I was just like, 'Shit, that was a good shot\ufeff'.<\/p>\n

"But I knew I had to stay composed, stay disciplined and push through. My brother did it with Gausha, so there was no excuse for me not to do it."<\/p>\n

Incredibly, Tszyu almost evened up the first round after a sensational immediate recovery. He said he felt he got on top of Biggs midway through the second round "once (his) lab started landing".<\/p>\n

"\ufeffHalfway through the second round I felt that he was already gassing," he said.<\/p>\n

\"Nikita<\/p>\n

"He was starting to move backwards more, he wasn't exchanging with me as much. I noticed in his previous fights that when he gets tired he starts moving backwards and he starts kind of picking off pot shots from a distance.<\/p>\n

"So from there, I knew I had to kind of just set traps on him and kind of fake him to attack and hit him as he attacked.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"It wasn't so much about being cautious with my offence, it was being more focused on defence.<\/p>\n

"I knew that his right hand was a good shot. It was a straight shot that comes down the middle, so we were planning on making use of that and hitting as he was hitting.<\/p>\n
