A\ufeff strong 70-run victory over New Zealand<\/a> has sealed India<\/a>'s spot in their fourth ODI World Cup<\/a> final as records tumbled at Wankhede Stadium.<\/p>\n

Virat Kohli put historians to work early when he passed Sachin Tendulkar's record for most ODI centuries<\/a>, scoring 117 while Mohammed Shami became the first bowler to take three five-wicket hauls at the same World Cup. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Shami finished with 7-57 from 9.5 overs against New Zealand while he also claimed five against both Sri Lanka and the Kiwis previously in the regular rounds.<\/p>\n

Shami's seven wickets also became the best bowling figures in a World Cup semi-final, eclipsing Gary Gilmour who took 6-14 in 1975.<\/p>\n

The fast bowler now leads the wickets tally for the World Cup on 23\ufeff while Australian Adam Zampa is on 22 and will play against South Africa at 7.30pm on Thursday (AEDT).<\/p>\n
