Jayden Quaintance committed to Kentucky basketball on Tuesday morning, landing the Wildcats one of the top remaining uncommitted players in the nation.<\/p>\n

A consensus five-star center at Word of Game Christian Academy (Raleigh, North Carolina), the class of 2024 standout held offers from Florida<\/a>, Missouri and Ohio State<\/a> among others.<\/p>\n

As On3 notes<\/a>, the 6-foot-9 center re-classified from the 2025 class.<\/p>\n

Quaintance is ranked the fourth-best player in the class by On3<\/a> and No. 9 overall by 247Sports.<\/a><\/p>\n

Jayden Quaintance is officially committed to Kentucky.<\/p>\n

And he’s potentially in for a two-year stint in Lexington.<\/p>\n

With the addition of Quaintance, Kentucky now has the second-best recruiting class in the nation in the 247Sports rankings<\/a>. He is the first recruit ranked as a five-star to commit to Kentucky in this class.<\/p>\n

All four commits for Kentucky, three of which have signed with the Wildcats, are ranked in the top 70 in the nation.<\/p>\n

Duke, who obtained a commitment from Cooper Flagg in late October<\/a>, has the consensus top recruiting class in the nation.<\/p>\n
