Manchester United great Mark Bosnich declared himself "devastated" and "fed up" after the Red Devils squandered a 2-0 lead to lose 4-3 to FC Copenhagen and slump to last place in their Champions League group on Thursday (AEDT).<\/a><\/p>\n

In a wild game in Copenhagen, United conceded two late goals after playing more than half the match with 10 men following Marcus Rashford's red card.<\/p>\n

An end to end match that began with Rasmus Hojlund – a former Copenhagen player – scoring twice inside 28 minutes ended with United collapsing for their third loss in four games.<\/p>\n

Lukas Lerager equalised in the 83rd minute and 17-year-old winger Roony Bardghji grabbed the winning goal in the 87th minute as Copenhagen secured one of the most famous victories in club history.<\/p>\n

"Entertaining, yes, but from a Man United perspective, a little bit devastated, but also a little bit fed up," former Socceroos goalkeeper Bosnich said on Stan Sport's post-match coverage.<\/p>\n

"We had two, in my opinion, ridiculous penalty decisions. But once you give that first penalty, you have to give that second penalty."<\/p>\n

Rashford was shown a straight red card in the 42nd minute for stamping on the left ankle of opponent Elias Jelert as he tried to shield the ball.<\/p>\n

The score was 2-0 at the time and Copenhagen scored twice before halftime.<\/p>\n

Rashford threw his hands up in disgust when the red card was brandished.<\/p>\n

Rashford has scored just one goal in all competitions this season, failing to replicate his form of last season.<\/p>\n

Off the field, he was reprimanded by United manager Erik ten Hag last week for his decision to go to a nightclub for a pre-arranged birthday party hours after a 3-0 loss to Manchester City.<\/p>\n

Ten Hag said Rashford's conduct was "unacceptable" and the player had apologised.<\/p>\n

The Copenhagen fans chanted "Roony, Roony" at the end of the game after Bardghji's winning goal.<\/p>\n

A player whose name has similarities to one of United's greatest players – Wayne Rooney – left the team in real danger of failing to qualify.<\/p>\n

United has three points, one fewer than Copenhagen and Galatasaray with two games left.<\/p>\n

Bayern Munich are already through to the knockout stage after Harry Kane scored twice in a 2-1 win over Galatasaray.<\/p>\n

The Copenhagen vs United clash was briefly stopped on two occasions in the first half because of incidents involving spectators at Parken Stadium.<\/p>\n

A man carrying a Palestinian flag ran onto the field with the words: "Stop the killing of children in Gaza. Let's stand together."<\/p>\n

Security guards removed him.<\/p>\n

That caused a delay of less than a minute, but there was a longer break soon after because a fan needed medical attention in the stands.<\/p>\n
