Australian golfing<\/a> legend Adam Scott<\/a> admits it's harder to motivate himself now as he enters the later stages of his career.<\/p>\n

\ufeffIt's been a decade since the the now-43-year-old won the hearts of Australia by clinching The Masters<\/a> – professional golf's premier tournament.<\/p>\n

But after 23 years on tour and about $98 million in prizemoney won, the modern great concedes there are other priorities.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"Honestly, yes at times, for sure," Scott told media ahead of the Bermuda Championship this week.<\/p>\n

"I think the year-round schedule makes it\u00a0harder and my life has changed even from… certainly from 10 years ago when I was here.<\/p>\n

\"Adam<\/p>\n

"A\u00a0family, my own family now and certainly other priorities to balance with the game.<\/p>\n

"You know,\u00a0that's always a juggling act and at times there is motivation, but the passion is still there,\u00a0that's for sure.<\/p>\n

"It's just about balancing all this the best I can so that I can get the most out of\u00a0myself in all these areas, which isn't easy because I really believe you can really only be great at one thing. You can be good at lots of things, but only great at one."<\/p>\n

While the Masters remains Scott's crowning achievement in what would have been the most lucrative golfing career by an Australian ever\ufeff but for Cameron Smith's LIV defection, he continues to compete against the best on the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n

He's finished in the top 10 in four tournaments this season, and sits 45th on the men's world rankings.<\/p>\n

He will play at Bermuda this week, before getting on a plane and flying home to play the two Australian majors later this month.<\/p>\n

Scott narrowly missed out on claiming another Australian Open title last year, and is keen to make amends in Sydney this time around.<\/p>\n

"I'm playing the Australian PGA and the Australian Open in a couple weeks' time and then I get to stay home for about five weeks after that," he said.<\/p>\n

"That will be nice. It's always nice, especially after long stretches like this year to be away all\u00a0year and get to go home and enjoy six or seven weeks at home.\ufeff"<\/p>\n

Scott will be joined by a host of stars at the Australian majors including Smith, Min Woo Lee, and Marc Leishman.\ufeff<\/p>\n
