Former Australian<\/a> wicket-keeper Ian Healy<\/a> has hit out at Australia's middle order, despite the side defeating England and cementing their spot in the top four of the ICC World Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Aussies are currently on a five-match winning streak but Healy has placed the microscope on the middle order, labelling their efforts "not good enough".<\/p>\n

In the win over England<\/a>, Australia compiled a total of 286, with Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Josh Inglis, Cameron Green and Marcus Stoinis combining for 200 of that. Labuschange top scored with 71.<\/p>\n

Healy wasn't impressed with the manner they were all dismissed with three caught while Labuschagne was dismissed lbw and Green bowled. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Australia won the game by 33 runs, with Adam Zampa proving the difference, taking 3\/21.<\/p>\n

However, it was his runs that proved equally as valuable, smashing 29 runs off 19 balls.<\/p>\n

\ufeffHealy said Zampa shouldn't have been required to contribute in that way.<\/p>\n

"The problem with that is he (Zampa) had to come out that good," Healy said on SENQ.<\/p>\n

"He was under pressure, slippery pressure to perform his skill and we relied on his batting, that's the difference right there.<\/p>\n

\"Smith\u00a0falls\u00a0to\u00a0Adil\u00a0Rashid\u00a0again\"<\/p>\n

"He made 29 and that's why we posted a score which enabled us to win by 30. It's not good enough yet.<\/p>\n

"I was really pleased, we got some hard work done because we were two for not many, Head and Warner gone. And I thought right, well Smith and Labuschagne, this is made for them and then Stoinis and Inglis, they can power up at the end, Green (as well).<\/p>\n

"They all threw their wickets away and they were quite wasteful.<\/p>\n

"They got some play under their belts, and got some hard work done, just enough.<\/p>\n

"But very, very reliant on Zampa and I think we've still got plenty to do."<\/p>\n
