A Kangaroos<\/a> player has put Australia's historic 30-0 loss to New Zealand in the Pacific Cup final<\/a> down to the team being "complacent".<\/p>\n

Australia was left shellshocked \ufeffas New Zealand<\/a> piled on five unanswered tries to hand the national side its biggest-ever Test loss.<\/p>\n

The Kiwis flipped the script on the Kangaroos' 36-18 victory in the group matches, with five-eighth Cameron Munster<\/a> admitting they had an attitude problem ahead of the final.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffA little bit of complacency," he explained to 9News post-match.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffWe knew they were going to come out hard but we didn't battle their energy and enthusiasm."<\/p>\n

Kiwis captain James Fisher-Harris said his side simply wanted the victory more.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"We wanted it. [Australia] have been at the top for so long, I mean check their team, they've got crazy talent," he said.<\/p>\n

"I just felt like we played more like a team."<\/p>\n

After claiming the inaugural \ufeffPacific Championships trophy, New Zealand called on ARL Commission chairman Peter V'landys to give the nation more Test matches against Australia.<\/p>\n

"Peter V'landys if you're out there listening, \ufeffplease man, give us a [Test match]," Kiwis winger Ronaldo Mulitalo said.<\/p>\n

\"HAMILTON,<\/p>\n

"It's hard, we obviously watch Origin \ufeffand it's such a spectacle. But put some more Tests in there. We need it, look how much it has united our nation."<\/p>\n

The suggestion was supported by both camps with Munster agreeing more Test matches during the NRL season would be valuable.<\/p>\n

"Regardless of how many games you play throughout the year, I'll play for Australia or Queensland anywhere we can," he said.<\/p>\n

This prompted calls to bring back the annual Anzac Test between the nations.<\/p>\n

"I don't know why we don't do the Anzac Test. I don't know why \ufeffwe don't play that anymore.<\/p>\n

"We just showed today that we are up for it."<\/p>\n

Speaking after the victory Kiwis \ufefffive-eighth Kieran Foran<\/a> said he was not prepared to close the door on his international football career just yet.<\/p>\n
