The world's top street skateboarders have descended on skate parks across Australia as part of the Red Bull Drop In Tour.<\/p>\n

The final event at Sydney Skate Park on Saturday rounded out the multi-city circuit after demonstrations in Melbourne, Brisbane and Gold Coast.<\/p>\n

The star-studded group from the Red Bull Skate team included Jamie Foy, Zion Wright and Gustavo Rubeiro, as well as a surprise appearance from Australian prodigy Chloe Covell.<\/p>\n

Hailing from \ufeffTweed Heads on the New South Wales border to Queensland, Covell said she was "super soaked" to travel with the team after claiming back-to-back Street League Skateboarding Championship wins in Tokyo and Sydney.<\/p>\n

"Skating with the Red Bull team at my hometown park was crazy like it feels so crazy all these pro-skaters being here," she said.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"I feed off the crowd's energy and it gets me really hyped. <\/p>\n

"I've landed tricks that I've never done before down some of the obstacles and the crowd went super insane when I got them."<\/p>\n

At 13 years old, Covell is the youngest gold medallist in X Games women's street skateboarding history after taking a statement win at X Games California in July.\ufeff<\/p>\n

She is also \ufeffen route to represent Australia at Paris 2024 having finished seventh in a stacked final at World Skate's first Olympic<\/a> qualifying event in Rome in June last year, which featured all three Tokyo 2020 medallists. <\/p>\n

The demonstrations saw the world's best show off their most technical tricks while connecting with the local skating community at each stop.<\/p>\n

"Not a lot of skateboarding events happen here [in Australia] – \ufeffI think the last one was the 2018 X Games and now we're doing this. I feel like the \ufeffcrowd deserves it, it's been so long," Brazilian-American professional street skateboarder Felipe Gustavo said.<\/p>\n

"Skateboarding is so strong here … and everyone is such a fan of skating. It gives us the energy to keep doing it.<\/p>\n
