Harry Kane<\/a> has done a David Beckham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The England captain scored a spectacular goal from his own half for Bayern Munich against Darmstadt, before going on to claim a Bundesliga hat-trick.<\/p>\n

Kane spotted goalkeeper Marcel Schuhen was off his line and fired the ball about 60 metres from Bayern's side of the centre circle.<\/p>\n

The shot flew over Schuhen, who was desperately running back to his goal, and into the net to increase Bayern's lead to 5-0 in the 69th minute.<\/p>\n

A look of amazement came over Kane's face and his teammates rush to celebrate with him.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"Harry Kane is unbelievable," wrote British football content guru Tom Overend\ufeff on X.<\/p>\n

"Harry Kane SCREAMER from his own half," wrote British TV and radio presenter Adam Smith on X.<\/p>\n

Bayern won the game 8-0 with Kane, who signed a reported $229 million contract with Bayern Munich in August, getting his hat-trick in the 88th.<\/p>\n

Kane has now scored 12 goals in nine Bundesliga games since he joined the German champions in the off-season from Tottenham.<\/p>\n

The game was 0-0 until Kane opened the scoring with a header in the 51st minute, before Bayern scored a series of goals in quick succession.<\/p>\n

Beckham thrust himself into the limelight by scoring from a similar distance on the opening day of the 1996-97 Premier League season against Wimbledon in one of the league's most famous goals.<\/p>\n
