Josh Inglis<\/a> cracked a thumping six on Wednesday night and the look on a Dutchman's face said it all.<\/p>\n

The man who unseated Alex Carey early in Australia's 50-over World Cup<\/a> campaign nailed a delivery sent down by Netherlands quick\ufeff Logan van Beek.<\/p>\n

The Dutch fast bowler dropped the ball in a touch too short in the 38th over of Australia's innings and Inglis capitalised, pulling it for six square of the wicket en route to the side's 309-run triumph at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The look on Max Dowd\ufeff's face was priceless, the Netherlands opening batter closing his eyes and reacting with astonishment.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffI think so, too, Max," said West Indies cricket great Ian Bishop in commentary.<\/p>\n

Inglis lost his wicket when he holed out to\ufeff Sybrand Engelbrecht shortly after, picking out the Dutchman at cow corner and departing for 14.<\/p>\n

Carey was backed as Australia's wicketkeeper for the side's tournament-opening match against India, which the host nation won by \ufeffsix wickets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But Carey was axed after being dismissed lbw by fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah for a two-ball duck, leading to Inglis featuring in the four Australian fixtures that have followed.<\/p>\n

The Western Australian made five against South Africa, 58 against Sri Lanka, 13 against Pakistan and 14 in the Netherlands clash.<\/p>\n

Australia is placed fourth on the table on six points, with India (10 points), South Africa (eight) and New Zealand (eight) ahead of Pat Cummins' men.<\/p>\n

Pakistan and Afghanistan are placed fifth and sixth respectively, having accumulated four points each.<\/p>\n

The top-four teams of the round-robin stage will advance to the finals.\ufeff<\/p>\n
