While not suggesting it cost his team victory, Argentina coach Michael Cheika hit out at the performance of Australian referee Angus \ufeffGardner at Stade de France.<\/p>\n

The \ufeffpenalty count was 10-7 against Argentina\ufeff.<\/p>\n

"I wasn't very happy with the refereeing in the first half, especially in the rucks. I think it's his way of doing things. Every time we were in their 22 we encountered the same problem," Cheika told reporters.<\/p>\n

Hoiles said New Zealand's captains deserved credit.<\/p>\n

"They don't antagonise, they just casually chat and have a social conversation," Hoiles said on Stan Sport.<\/p>\n

"They drop in a few things to look at, they're intelligent. We've got to be more like it. You know, we can consider and criticise the way they manage referees and manage the games.<\/p>\n

"I once got in a lot of trouble by saying we need to cheat better. That's the wrong word. We've got to be craftier like that.<\/p>\n
