Argentina<\/a> may have the tagline of Los Pumas, but Sonny Bill Williams<\/a> reckons it'll be the All Blacks<\/a> who will have their claws out at Stade de France.<\/p>\n

With their 29-17 victory over Wales at Stade Velodrome<\/a>, Argentina secured a Rugby World Cup<\/a> semi-final berth against New Zealand.<\/p>\n

There'll be an air of confidence in the Pumas camp knowing that they've beaten the All Blacks twice since 2020.<\/p>\n

However, two-time Rugby World Cup winner Williams is adamant it'll be a bloodbath for one reason.<\/p>\n

"I believe \u2013 like I always have \u2013 that New Zealand will win and they'll win this game quite convincingly," Williams told Stan Sport's Rugby Heaven<\/em>.<\/p>\n

"I think the areas of concern for Cheika's team are the facts are the facts. They're great at ruck time. I think they came up with nine or 11 steals, but it's that a-b-c defender. That's where they got found out against Wales.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"If you're (Will) Jordan, if you're Leicester (Fainga'anuku), or (Mark) Telea, Beauden (Barrett) \u2013 those little inside balls, you'd be licking your lips at the thought of getting those inside balls and taking it to the Argentinians."<\/p>\n

The All Blacks go into the semi-final off the back of completing arguably their hardest task to date.<\/p>\n

Few thought New Zealand could topple the world No.1 team Ireland.<\/p>\n

There were extraordinary scenes when that happened, with the likes of Aaron Smith collapsing to the ground in tears.\u00a0<\/p>\n

From that ultimate high, Williams said the team needs to ground itself and reset for another tough task ahead.<\/p>\n

"The last couple of years New Zealand has been up and down. This is going to be a big statement this weekend against the Argentinians," he explained.<\/p>\n

"Mehrts (Andrew Mehrtens), what you touched one is really important \u2013 the mental side of things. People decompress differently. Some people like to play golf, Merhts likes to play PlayStation, I think that's important.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"My point is these boys need to be decompressed because it was such an intense game. It was probably one of the best quarter-finals you could ever see."<\/p>\n
