Philadelphia 76ers<\/a> veteran Patrick Beverley\ufeff<\/a> had some choice words for Ben Simmons<\/a> following a clash during a preseason game this week.<\/p>\n

Beverley was hit with his second technical foul and tossed in the fourth quarter of the warm-up match for calling out the Aussie, when Simmons committed what Beverley deemed a hard foul on Sixers' rookie Filip Petru\u0161ev.<\/p>\n

On top of the foul, Beverley claimed Simmons had been trash-talking Petrusev throughout the game\ufeff but not the NBA veteran, even though Beverley was going at Simmons.<\/p>\n

"First off, Ben Simmons is a hell of a talent," Beverley said on "The Pat Bev Pod."<\/p>\n

"It's good seeing him back out there. He looks strong. He impacted the game yesterday. So when it comes to basketball, I don't have a problem with Ben Simmons. I like Ben Simmons when it comes to basketball.<\/p>\n

"He was chirping at one of my rookies. Like, c'mon. Filip with an F. You know what I'm saying? You're chirping at that guy? You foul him hard as f—.<\/p>\n

"I'm talking to you all game, you ain't saying nothing. Tobias (Harris) cooking your ass, you really ain't saying nothing\u2026 you've got eight turnovers\u2026 I just didn't understand the bark from Ben to our rookie.<\/p>\n

"But the game, he looked good out there. Jump shot looks good, passed the shit out of it, fast as f—.<\/p>\n
