Victor Wembanyama scored 23 points in 23 minutes to lead the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> to a 120-104 pre-season victory over the Miami Heat<\/a> on Saturday (AEDT).<\/p>\n

Wembanyama, the No.1 pick in this year\u2019s NBA<\/a> draft, sank 10 of 15 shots \u2014 one of five from three-point range \u2014 and both of his free throws in his second pre-season game.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the seven-foot-four centre from France had 20 points and one block in 19 minutes in a 122-121 loss to Oklahoma City in the Spurs' pre-season opener.<\/p>\n

Wembanyama added four rebounds, four assists and three blocks on Saturday and also had four of San Antonio's 13 turnovers.<\/p>\n

"Victor Wembanyama casually pulls off multiple insane sequences each game that is impossible for 99 per cent of the rest of the NBA," he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.<\/p>\n

Devin Vassell hit six of seven from beyond the arc and finished with 21 points with three assists for the Spurs.<\/p>\n

Jeremy Sochan pitched in with 10 points, six rebounds and three assists.<\/p>\n

Jamal Cain was six from eight on three-pointers and finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Heat.<\/p>\n

Duncan Robinson had 14 points and five assists.<\/p>\n

Jaime Jaquez Jr, the 18th overall selection this year, did not play after scoring 13 in Miami's opener \u2014 a 113-109 win over the Charlotte Hornets.<\/p>\n

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 129-125\ufeff.<\/p>\n

Rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis scored the go-ahead basket on a tip-in with 32 seconds left, then blocked a shot by his former Indiana Hoosiers teammate Jalen Hood-Schifino at the other end to rally the visiting Golden State over Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Stephen Curry scored 18 points in 21 minutes for the Warriors, who opened the pre-season with a 125-108 win at home over the Lakers.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Kuminga scored 26 points on nine of 12 shooting with three three-pointers.<\/p>\n

Brandin Podziemski, the 19th overall pick this year, finished with 10 points, 10 assists and six rebounds.<\/p>\n
