M\ufeffARSEILLE:<\/strong> All Blacks winger Mark Telea has been sensationally axed for Sunday's (AEDT) Rugby World Cup quarter-final<\/a> after breaching team protocol.<\/p>\n

New Zealand coach Ian Foster would not reveal the exact nature of Telea's "minor" indiscretion but Kiwi media reported that he had broken curfew ahead of the clash with world No.1 Ireland in Paris.<\/p>\n

Foster \ufeffwas asked what Telea's lack of discipline said about his team.<\/p>\n

"I think it says volumes, we believe what we stand for. I think that speaks volumes for the team when we make that sort of decision…<\/p>\n

Roigard has flashed Antoine Dupont-like attacking qualities in France but paid the price for some lapses of concentration against Uruguay.<\/p>\n

"We just felt it was horses for courses for this particular game. We think Finlay has an edge defensively," Foster explained.<\/p>\n
