Collingwood<\/a> veteran Taylor Adams<\/a> may swap the black and white for the red and white of Sydney<\/a> in a trade bombshell.<\/p>\n

It comes after the 30-year-old heartbreakingly missed out on being part of Collingwood's thrilling grand victory over Brisbane<\/a>, due to a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n

Adams, who is the Magpies' vice-captain, reportedly toured the Swans' headquarters during grand final week\ufeff.<\/p>\n

He is no stranger to NSW, as he began his career at the GWS Giants in 2012, playing 31 games in the orange, before moving to Collingwood at the start of the 2014 season.<\/p>\n

Adams, who is still contracted to the Magpies for one more year, has reportedly been offered a mega deal to bolster Sydney's young midfield as they push to go one step better than their 2022 grand final loss to Geelong in 2024.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The possible move could work in Adams' favour in more ways than one, with reports that long-time teammate and good friend Brodie Grundy is all but locked in to join Sydney as their number one ruckman.<\/a><\/p>\n

Grundy, who was surprisingly left out of Melbourne's side to play finals, will likely fill the spot left by retiring big man Tom Hickey.<\/p>\n

But, Adams will have to weigh up his affiliation with the Magpies as a key club leader.<\/p>\n

He also won the Copeland Trophy, crowned the club's best and fairest in 2020.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The interest from the Swans comes after they tabled a 10-year, $11 million deal for Western Bulldogs\ufeff big man Aaron Naughton, which was shut down after he re-signed with the Dogs on a monster eight-year deal.<\/a><\/p>\n

Sydney have already begun making big moves in the off-season too, signing Melbourne midfielder James Jordon as an unrestricted free agent on Friday.<\/p>\n

"James is a talented young midfielder who we think has a bright future ahead of him," Swans footy boss Charlie Gardiner said in a statement on Friday.<\/p>\n

"We think he will be a valuable addition to our midfield group with his running ability and flexibility to play inside and out."<\/p>\n
