Australian star and world No.44 Cam Davis is heading home to play the country's two major golf<\/a> tournaments next month.<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe 28-year-old Sydneysider is the latest confirmed superstar locked in for the Australian PGA Championship<\/a> and the Australian Open<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Davis came from the clouds to win the Australian Open\ufeff in 2017 when he was just 22 years old.<\/p>\n

He's since won an event on the PGA Tour, has scored seven top-10 results this season, and has climbed the World Golf Rankings\ufeff to now be inside the top 50.<\/p>\n

"It's always enjoyable to come back home and being part of the summer golf in Australia," Davis said on Thursday.<\/p>\n

"I have great memories of The Australian and going back there, as well as The Lakes, for the Open is something I'm very much looking forward to.<\/p>\n

"Last year's PGA Championship at Royal Queensland had great crowds, with a huge vibe, and I'm sure with the field that's being assembled, it'll be a fun event to be part of again in November."<\/p>\n

Davis will return home to Sydney for the Open, which will be held at two courses from November 30 to December 3.<\/p>\n

A week prior to that, he will be at Royal Queensland for the PGA Championship from November 23.<\/p>\n

The PGA Championship was last year won by former world No.2 and fellow Aussie Cameron Smith<\/a>, who has already confirmed his attendance at the two majors Down Under<\/a> next month.<\/p>\n
