After demolishing Italy 96-17 last week, the All Blacks chose to give fringe players game time and rest front-liners in preparation for an expected quarter-final next week.<\/p>\n

Tighthead prop Tyrel Lomax starts for the first time in four Tests after accidentally gashing his thigh. He had 30 minutes off the bench against Italy.<\/p>\n

There's a new second row of Sam Whitelock, who will play his 150th Test, and Tupou Vaa\u2019i. Brodie Retallick was rested and Scott Barrett was in the reserves.<\/p>\n

Whitelock will also own outright the Rugby World Cup appearance record. His 23rd match will surpass England's Jason Leonard and New Zealand's Richie McCaw.<\/p>\n

The backline changes see scrumhalf Cam Roigard, centre Anton Lienert-Brown, wing Leicester Fainga\u2019anuku and fullback Damian McKenzie play instead of Aaron Smith, Rieko Ioane, Mark Telea and Beauden Barrett, who was in the reserves.<\/p>\n

The reserves have been refilled with forwards Samisoni Taukei'aho and Ethan Blackadder \u2014 the injury replacement who could make his Rugby World Cup debut \u2014 and backs Finlay Christie and Caleb Clarke.<\/p>\n

Uruguay made six changes after beating Namibia 36-26 last week for its first win of the tournament and fourth in Rugby World Cup history.<\/p>\n

Los Teros brought in lock Ignacio Dotti and back-rowers Lucas Bianchi and Manuel Diana, centre Tomas Inciarte, wing Gaston Mieres and fullback Rodrigo Silva.<\/p>\n

Dotti and Bianchi make their Rugby World Cup debuts, along with Silva, who replaces Baltazar Amaya, the scorer of two tries against the Namibians.<\/p>\n
