NRL<\/a> clubs are lining up to sign a gun Kiwi rugby union<\/a> outside back in the mould of Roger Tuivasa-Sheck<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Solomon Alaimalo is a speedy, tall tryscorer who can play wing, centre and fullback.<\/p>\n

At 27, he has done the rounds in the 15-a-side game and is looking to challenge himself in the NRL, signing with player managers Pacific Sports Management.<\/p>\n

Alaimalo began his career with a bang at the highly-rated Chiefs a few seasons back but injuries and a mental health break have seen his career stall somewhat.<\/p>\n

He's currently playing for Canterbury in the Kiwi NPC competition and has attracted the interest of league scouts.<\/p>\n

"He's got a good mix of speed, step and power," Alaimalo's manager Gavin Orr told Wide World of Sports.<\/p>\n

"The guy has everything it takes to be a real success in the NRL."<\/p>\n

A powerful youngster with good ball skills, he is of Fijian \/ Aboriginal heritage and the Rabbitohs beat several clubs to get his signature on a two-year deal.<\/p>\n
