Moroccan kickboxing star Mohammed Boutasaa produced a fine performance to put an end to a two-fight losing streak at ONE Friday Fights 35.
\nUndefeated before those two losses, the man born in the Netherlands to Moroccan parents was able to get back in the win column with a unanimous decision over Turkey\u2019s Furkan Karabag at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
\nKnowing he had a point to prove, Boutasaa came out strongly, picking his shots well, and avoiding the heavy shots being thrown by his opponent.
\nThe second period didn\u2019t go quite as well with Karabag starting to find a home for some heavy blows. But Boutasaa was able to ride out the storm before controlling the third round and taking the UD win.
\nHe now improves to an overall record of 16-2 and can look forward in the ONE featherweight kickboxing division.
