Q: What is the Sport Industry Forum and why was it launched?
\nCorander: \u201cThe Sport Industry Forum was established in the UAE. We launched it in 2014 with the support of Dubai Sports Council and Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
\n\u201cThere weren\u2019t many conferences in the region at that time and so we saw the opportunity to launch a forum that was relevant to the challenges in sports in the region. Our aim was, and still is, to advance the sports sector in the UAE and across the region. It\u2019s wonderful to see such incredible growth in sports in the last 9 years and very exciting times ahead.\u201d
\nQ: What is the mission for Sport Industry Forum?
\nCorander: \u201cThe mission is to drive positive change. We pride ourselves on our content being hugely relevant to the region.
\n\u201cWe are based in the region and understand the industry challenges which may be unique to other countries.
