T\ufeffhe Wests Tigers<\/a>' off-season has received a major boost with young gun Jahream Bula signing a long-term extension with the embattled club.<\/p>\n

Bula has been one of the Tigers' shining lights after making his NRL<\/a> debut this season, and signed a two-year extension to remain at the club through 2027.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old was voted the Tigers' player of the year by his teammates and also won the team's rookie of the year award. He is a leading contender to be named Dally M Rookie of the Year.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"I want to stay here as long as I can," Bula said in a club statement on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

"The club blessed me with this opportunity and I'm not in this position without them. <\/p>\n

"I want to hopefully win a championship here one day, that's my goal."<\/p>\n

Incoming Wests Tigers head coach Benji Marshall<\/a> said the club is "super excited" to lock Bula in long-term.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"He has been an exciting young talent and proven his toughness in first grade in his debut season," he said.<\/p>\n
