Cleveland Browns<\/a> star running back Nick Chubb was carted off the field with a knee injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Chubb collided with Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick at the end of a 5-yard run early in the second quarter.<\/p>\n

Chubb's legs bent awkwardly underneath him while being tackled by Fitzpatrick.<\/p>\n

The collision drew a gasp from fans at the stadium when \ufeffit was replayed on the big screen but broadcasters refused to air to viewers at home. <\/p>\n

Speaking on the broadcast, NFL commentator Joe Buck stated: "I am told that the replay of Nick Chubb getting injured is not to be seen."<\/p>\n

But as expected, vision of the horrific injury made its way onto social media.<\/p>\n

Chubb remained on the ground for several minutes while teammates gathered in prayer nearby.<\/p>\n

He eventually left on a cart. Chubb ran 10 times for 64 yards before getting hurt.<\/p>\n

Fans on social media were left mortified by the vision, with words like "gruesome" "graphic" and "awful" thrown around.<\/p>\n
