P\ufeffhil Gould<\/a> has issued an ominous warning to the Warriors<\/a> as they strive to reach a first NRL<\/a> grand final since 2011.<\/p>\n

The Auckland-based club travels to Brisbane this week where a preliminary final against the Broncos awaits on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The Warriors thrashed the Knights in front of a roaring crowd at Mt Smart Stadium at the weekend<\/a> to progress to the grand final qualifier.<\/p>\n

And while Saturday's win impressed Gould, he says travelling to Queensland's Suncorp Stadium will be a whole different ball game.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffIt's going to be very different for them," Gould said on Nine's Today<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"Addin<\/p>\n

"Big crowd on the weekend (against the Knights), big home crowd, it was a wonderful day for the Warriors.<\/p>\n

"The big advantage the Broncos will have is playing at Suncorp Stadium. It's going to be very different for the Warriors who had that big home crowd behind them, to walk into that sort of atmosphere up there in Brisbane."<\/p>\n

Suncorp Stadium is colloquially known as "the cauldron" for Queensland teams for a reason – the 52,500 capacity crowd can intimidate visiting players like no other venue in Australia.<\/p>\n

\ufeffWhile the Warriors looked slick on a home track against the Knights, the win came a week after they were handed a 32-6 lesson by the Panthers in Penrith.<\/p>\n

They'll need to drastically improve on that away-trip form if they stand a chance against the red-hot Broncos this week.<\/p>\n

While the four teams left in the premiership race are full of class, Gould says it's Penrith's title to lose.<\/p>\n

"It certainly is, they are the premier team in the competition," Gould said.<\/p>\n

"They've been to the last three grand finals, won two premierships, and I can't see anything stopping them again this year.\ufeff"<\/p>\n
