Ange Postecoglou's<\/a> Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> scored twice in a matter of minutes to avoid an embarrassing home loss against Sheffield United in the Premier League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spurs had looked set for its first league defeat of the season after they failed to deal with a long Jack Robinson throw that dropped for Gustavo Hamer, who drilled in at the back post via the woodwork midway through the second half.<\/p>\n

Brazil striker Richarlison was first to score when he headed home substitute Ivan Perisic's corner to level the scores in the eighth minute of injury time, before Kulusevski fired the winner to spark wild celebrations from the home crowd in the 10th.<\/p>\n

It was the Spurs' fourth win of the season to stay second, behind leader Manchester City. The win maintains Postecoglou's impressive start at the club, which saw him win manager of the month for August.<\/p>\n

Sheffield's Oli McBurnie was sent off for a second yellow card in the 14th minute of stoppages, before the full-time whistle was blown minutes later.<\/p>\n

"There was a fair bit going on in the game and particularly at the end," Postecoglou told Optus Sport post-match.<\/p>\n

"I guess from our point of view it's a great way to show how this group deals with adversity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"We dominated the game, just couldn't get the goal we needed. The opposition scored and you're looking at what reaction we get, it was a brilliant reaction<\/p>\n

"It's good because it's a new group. They are the kind of things that don't happen naturally – you kinda hope they do – it seems already within this group there's a spirit amongst them.<\/p>\n

Postecoglou said the Spurs fans played a significant part in the comeback.<\/p>\n

"I thought the fans were outstanding today, they seemed to be willing the ball into the net and we got the right result," he said.<\/p>\n

"Today there was a lot of frustration from everybody when we weren't scoring. The one thing about our football is that we will be relentless irrespective of the score. I think they (the fans) like that.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"They want to see their team being aggressive, even when we were 1-0 down we were doing that so that was great."<\/p>\n

The Blades remain winless after five matches.<\/p>\n
