New Zealand<\/a> walked in a whopping 11 tries against Namibia in their Pool A clash at the Rugby World Cup,<\/a> marking a major turnaround on their loss to France.<\/p>\n

Cam Roigard and Damien McKenzie led the charge for the All Blacks \u2013 each scoring two tries apiece in their first Rugby World Cup appearances respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One of McKenzie's tries was set up by a deft bit of spatial awareness from Ofa Tu'ungafasi, who threw a no-look pass out the back to Beauden Barrett.<\/p>\n

Roigard's efforts were similarly impressive. His first try came less than two minutes into the contest.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He followed that up with another in the seventh minute, earning the player of the match as a result.<\/p>\n

"Pretty surreal moment and an awesome atmosphere \u2013 sometimes I couldn't even hear myself it was so loud," said Roigard.<\/p>\n

"It was really cool \u2013 a moment I'll remember for a long time. To get another opportunity would be awesome."<\/p>\n

All Blacks head coach Ian Foster was complimentary of Roigard's showing.<\/p>\n

"He played really well, he had a pack that was giving a platform clearly, but he took his opportunities," said Foster.<\/p>\n

"It's one thing to have good go-forward ball but he made really good decisions with that and he should be really proud. We saw the benefit of his running game."<\/p>\n

That was one of the highlights as New Zealand steamrolled their way to a 71-3 win.<\/p>\n

There was, however, one lowlight for the men in black.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After Ethan de Groot came off the bench and scored almost immediately, he found himself in the sin bin for an ugly hit on Adriaan Booysen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

New Zealand will have an extended break before returning on September 30 to face Italy.<\/p>\n

Namibia will take on France on September 22 in their third Pool A fixture.\ufeff<\/p>\n
