T\ufeffhe Brisbane Broncos<\/a> are being investigated by the NRL over the possibility the club tampered with Dragons skipper Ben Hunt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The league is reportedly looking into contact between Hunt and the Broncos in June after the Dragons playmaker publicly expressed his desire to leave<\/a> the club.<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe Dragons are understood to have not lodged an official complaint at this stage.<\/p>\n

Hunt began his NRL career with the Broncos in 2009 and played \ufeff187 games for the club before joining St George Illawarra in 2018.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old Rockhampton native has signalled his intention to finish his career in Queensland and has also been heavily linked to the Gold Coast Titans<\/a>.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Speaking to media on Thursday<\/a>, Hunt confirmed \ufeffhe would be staying at the Dragons in 2024 despite agitating for a release this season.<\/p>\n

"I'll be at the Dragons, I've had a few conversations with Flanno and that's where I'll be … we've got a good relationship, myself and Flanno, for a while now, I think he'll do a good job for the club," he said at the Prime Minister's XIII camp.<\/p>\n

However, while admitting his future is at the club, the halfback admitted his attitude around staying hasn't changed. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"\ufeffNah I wouldn't say it's improved drastically, I've sort of put it all behind me really, and accepted that I'm going to be there," he said.<\/p>\n

"But I guess if I really think about it, it hasn't changed a lot but that's just where I'm going to be there next year."<\/p>\n
