Venerable prop James Slipper \ufeffwill become the third Australian to play in four Rugby World Cups<\/a> after being named to start at tighthead against Fiji in Saint Etienne on Monday (AEST).<\/p>\n

Slipper, 34, missed the opening win over Georgia with a foot injury and replaces Taniela Tupou (hamstring) in the No.3 jersey.<\/p>\n

\ufeffIt will be the captain's third Test start at tighthead after also doing so in 2012 and 2021.<\/p>\n

Slipper joins \ufeffgreats George Gregan and Adam Ashley-Cooper in the exclusive four World Cup club and is one of three changes to Eddie Jones' starting side.<\/p>\n

The others are halfback Nic White for Tate McDermott (concussion) and lock Nick Frost (ear) for Richie Arnold.<\/p>\n

The unlucky Andrew Kellaway again misses out on the 23 with Ben Donaldson and Carter Gordon retaining their starting spots at fullback and five-eighth respectively.<\/p>\n
