Morgan Turinui has cautioned the Wallabies \ufeffagainst trying to fight fire with fire in Monday's (AEST) crucial Rugby World Cup<\/a> pool clash with Fiji in Saint-Etienne.<\/p>\n

At the last World Cup the Wallabies prevailed 39-21 in Sapporo but Fiji continue to improve under the tutelage of coach Simon Raiwalui, the former Australia assistant.<\/p>\n

\ufeffFiji were ahead of the Wallabies in the world rankings before they lost to Wales in the match of the tournament so far.<\/a><\/p>\n

"I don't think we want up tempo," former Wallabies back Turinui said on Stan Sport's Rugby Heaven<\/em>.<\/p>\n

"I think if we play up tempo, if there's chaos in the game, it suits Fiji.<\/p>\n

"It's a much fitter Fiji than we've seen. It is a more cohesive Fiji. They've had a large block of time with their international-based stars because they've had prep for the World Cup.<\/p>\n

The Pool C clash will kick off at 5.45pm local time at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, known as 'Le Cauldron' for the storied local football team.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Conditions should suit Fiji with temperatures tipped to be in the high 20s come kickoff.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I think you've got to have Donaldson in there as the cleanest kicking option at the moment," All Blacks great Andrew Mehrtens countered on Rugby Heaven<\/em>.<\/p>\n

"So whether that's 15 or 10, I think, depends on where you see the threats from Fiji. And I think maybe the chance to put Donaldson into 10 and have Kellaway at 15 for his defensive game because up against the Fijians, there's going to be some acid put on.<\/p>\n
