T\ufeffhe Dolphins<\/a> face the prospect of a $50,000 fine after an NRL<\/a> investigation found the club to have contravened the league playing contract and remuneration (PCR) rules.<\/p>\n

The NRL alleges that the breach occurred in the club's bid to sign Brisbane Broncos<\/a> young gun Deine Mariner.<\/p>\n

The notice alleges a failure by the club to comply with the record keeping provisions of the PCR rules\ufeff. The NRL has proposed a $50,000 fine (50 per cent suspended) for the club.<\/p>\n

The agent involved, who has not been named by the NRL, faces the prospect of a 12-month suspension of his agent accreditation, should he breach either the Agent's Accreditation Scheme rules or PCR rules within the next 24 months.<\/p>\n

Both the Dolphins and the agent involved have five business days to respond to the notices.<\/p>\n

\ufeffStar duo Herbie Farnworth<\/a> and Thomas Flegler<\/a> have already committed to the Dolphins on multi-year deals commencing in 2024. <\/p>\n
