SAINT-ETIENNE: <\/strong>Halfback Cam Roigard \ufeffwill make his first Test start as All Blacks coach Ian Foster named a revamped team to tackle Namibia at the Rugby World Cup<\/a> on Saturday (AEST).<\/p>\n

As expected, Foster took the opportunity to rest several of his stars \ufeffafter the disappointment of the 27-13 loss to France in the tournament opener.<\/a><\/p>\n

Captain Sam Cane, centre Jordie Barrett, prop Tyrel Lomax and flanker Shannon Frizell remain sidelined with injury with No.8 Ardie Savea \ufeffto lead the team again in Toulouse.<\/p>\n

Whitelock will equal Richie McCaw's All Blacks record of 148 Tests while Damian McKenzie will start ahead of Richie Mo'unga at No.10.<\/p>\n

Namibia lost their opening match 52-8 to Italy and will face a New Zealand team keen to exercise their frustrations.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"We are expecting a very tough Namibian side to test us," Foster said.<\/p>\n

"Whilst we were disappointed with the result in the first round, it hasn't moved our focus from what we need to do to in our pool games.<\/p>\n

"This game is vital for us to grow and we can't wait to get to Toulouse and test ourselves."<\/p>\n
