W\ufeffests Tigers<\/a> forward Alex Twal has reportedly been given permission to speak to rival clubs after the club's tumultuous season.<\/p>\n

Twal has gained cult hero status at the club, due to his long run \ufeffof 116 games without a try. The lock's first four-pointer came in round 16 this year.<\/p>\n

According to The Herald, rivals clubs have been made aware of the Lebanon representative's availability despite being contracted until the end of 2024.<\/p>\n

If Twal was to secure a contract elsewhere, he would join Luke Brooks, Daine Laurie and Tommy Talau out the door. Ken Maumalo and Joe Ofahengaue were also released mid-season.<\/p>\n

Brothers Latu and Samuela Fainu, Aiden Sezer and Jayden Sullivan will join next season.<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe news of Twal's potential departure comes after the Tigers confirmed they have spoken to former NRL chief financial officer Tony Crawford about conducting a review.<\/p>\n

\ufeffTigers chief executive officer Justin Pascoe and chairman Lee Hagipantelis have been under pressure from fans over the club's dire run, having not played finals since 2011.<\/p>\n
