Oliphant's time at the head of the field was short-lived, however. Sweeny swept by at turn six on lap two and skipped away with the lead.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the Peugeot pilot made his car wide enough and the trailing Audi settled for third.<\/p>\n Cox wound up fourth and nearly 10 seconds adrift of the battle for the lead while Josh Buchan, second in the standings, wound up fifth.<\/p>\n The most high-profile casualty of the race was Will Brown, who retired on lap 12 when the engine of his Audi RS3 cried no more and spat oil out.<\/p>\n
