P\ufeffarramatta Eels<\/a> forward Andrew Davey<\/a> could reportedly be forced into a premature retirement as he struggles to overcome issues with concussion.<\/p>\n

Davey – who signed with the Eels in April after being given an immediate release from Canterbury – is under contract until the end of 2024.<\/p>\n

The Sydney Morning Herald<\/a> reports the second-rower is resigned to the likelihood that his career will end, however the club is yet to comment on the matter.<\/p>\n

Most recently, Davey was knocked out against the Broncos in round 24 and had to be helped from the field.<\/p>\n

After that incident, he did not play the final two games of the season. The second-rower was also knocked out against the Rabbitohs earlier in the year.<\/p>\n

Davey has been in the news recently after he shared his version of events into his release from the Bulldogs.<\/p>\n
