Former England<\/a> international Danny Cipriani has compared Eddie Jones<\/a> to a "horny teenager" in a new biography about the rugby star's career.<\/p>\n

A polarising figure in his own right, the Test player of 16 matches detailed an encounter with Jones upon joining the England camp in which he prodded him about his relationship with an ex-girlfriend.<\/p>\n

In an extract from the biography 'Who Am I?' published by The Times and The Sunday Times, it's alleged Jones asked Cipriani about his sex life with TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher.<\/p>\n

"We're all out for dinner on day one, I'm sitting at the end of the table and Eddie comes and sits next to me," Cipriani wrote.<\/p>\n

\"Eddie<\/p>\n

"The first words out of his mouth are, 'Mate, doesn't Kirsty Gallacher live around here? … What's she like?'<\/p>\n

"I've just split up with Kirsty, after a short relationship, and it's not something I want to talk to my head coach about, or anyone else for that matter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"Eddie keeps pecking, like a horny teenager, and in the end I tell him straight, 'Eddie, I don't want to talk about this, it's making me uncomfortable'.<\/p>\n

"Surprise, surprise, I'm not in the squad for the summer international against Wales. He's picked a part-time No.10 ahead of me.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"I can't help thinking Eddie only picked me for that training camp as a joke."<\/p>\n

Cipriani, it would seem, holds a dim view of Jones.<\/p>\n

In the biography, he said England's Rugby Football Union only employed Jones "because they were having a crisis" after the 2015 Rugby World Cup.<\/p>\n

A week out from this year's Rugby World Cup, Jones unleashed a scathing assessment of the current England set-up.<\/p>\n

"It's a difficult situation, like you've got an ageing team," said Jones on BBC Radio 4.<\/p>\n

\"Danny<\/p>\n

"Anyone who knows anything about sport can see that and then you've got new players coming in.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"Some of them have come through and done really well, like a Freddie Steward, others are still finding their feet, like a Marcus Smith.<\/p>\n

"You look at the results of England over the last five years but they're not producing quality players.<\/p>\n

"And so everyone looks at the head coach and let's blame the head coach. But the onus on producing quality players is the RFU and that hasn't happened."<\/p>\n

After being told the Wallabies coach said the RFU hadn't produced good players, Cipriani fired back.<\/p>\n

Taking to social media, Cipriani offered his own terse assessment of Jones.<\/p>\n

"What an unbelievable cop out," he wrote.<\/p>\n

"Once again\u2026 As the head coach of England you set the standard to follow, not by winning, by being a leader people look up to or admire, being accountable and inspiring a nation through your vision.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"Not by belittling employees, running through staff, having a limited understanding of the game and getting hired because the RFU don't know what they are looking for hence why they employed Eddie.\u00a0<\/p>\n

"RFU have a huge role to play but Eddie passing the buck is not news\u2026"<\/p>\n
