The Storm<\/a> can seemingly find class players at will and they've done it again with 20-year-old utility back Sualauvi Faalogo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Only the fifth genuine Melbourne junior to play for the Storm, Faalogo produced footwork reminiscent of a young Benji Marshall as he scampered over for two tries in the upset win over the Broncos<\/a> on Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Faalogo has pace to burn – he showed that when he scooted 90 metres in a first grade trial against the Roosters before the season.<\/p>\n

He's been slowly and patiently groomed for big things by the Storm, scoring 13 tries from his 18 appearances for the Sunshine Coast Falcons this season.<\/p>\n

Ryan Papenhuyzen looked sharp in his return to arms and the Storm also have a capable back-up in Nick Meaney, but Faalogo looks destined to be the club's long-term fullback and he could develop into one of the game's genuine excitement machines.<\/p>\n

Roosters deliver by targeting 'little men'\ufeff<\/h2>\n

There's never any prisoners taken in the Souths v Roosters local derby – and so it was on Friday night.<\/p>\n

The Roosters went in as outsiders but took a ruthless approach – running at Souths' little men Cody Walker<\/a> and Lachlan Ilias.<\/p>\n

And it worked a treat, with the pair missing 13 tackles between them, including several crucial tackles that led to tries.<\/p>\n

After a dreadful start to the regular season, the Roosters cruised home with a wet sail, winning their last five games to clinch a finals berth.<\/p>\n

With their strike power, other teams would have much preferred them missing out.<\/p>\n

Souths, who were at the top of the ladder midway through the season, must now have an honest and potentially brutal review of where it all went wrong.<\/p>\n

Titans produce a crowd favourite\ufeff<\/h2>\n

The Titans have found themselves yet another genuine excitement machine in speedy winger Alofiana Khan-Pereira.<\/p>\n

Virtually unknown at the start of the season, Khan-Pereira has become a favourite at Cbus Super Stadium, bagging eight tries in 11 games at home including one in the 34-28 win over the Bulldogs yesterday.<\/p>\n

He also finished his rookie season with 20 tries – becoming just the fifth player in the NRL era to achieve the feat.<\/p>\n

Panthers star sends a warning\ufeff<\/h2>\n

Stephen Crichton knows he has only a handful of games left with his beloved Panthers – and he's determined to make the most of them.<\/p>\n

A big match player, 'Critta' is off to the Bulldogs next season where he will find the going a lot tougher.<\/p>\n

The tall centre was superb in the win over the Cowboys that clinched Penrith the minor premiership on Saturday night, sending out a warning to rival outside backs in the final series.<\/p>\n

Crichton toyed with the Cowboys, scoring a try, producing a try assist, running for 235 metres, making 13 tackle busts and four offloads.<\/p>\n

When he is 'on', there are few better centres in the game and he'll be one of the Panthers' trump cards over the next four weeks.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins deserve praise on so many levels for their debut season, but special mention must go to winger Jamayne Isaako.<\/p>\n

For a player from a team that didn't make the finals to finish top point scorer AND top tryscorer is a remarkable feat – and Isaako did just that.<\/p>\n

The fleet-footed winger scored 230 points and 23 tries, with Wayne Bennett resurrecting his career after it appeared to stall over the last couple of seasons.<\/p>\n

Isaako is a genuine crowd pleaser – and can be counted on for plenty more tries and points next season when the Dolphins field a stronger squad.<\/p>\n

Manly find their Tommy Turbo insurance\ufeff<\/h2>\n

It's taken several years, but Manly no longer have to fear being without injury-plagued fullback Tom Trbojevic.<\/p>\n

For as long as we can remember, the Sea Eagles were a spent force as soon as Turbo Tom went down.<\/p>\n

But in recent weeks, Manly have found themselves a world class fullback in Tolutau Koula.<\/p>\n

Known more as a centre, Koula got his chance at fullback following Reuben Garrick's injury and has been superb.<\/p>\n

Relishing the extra room to move at the back, the speedster terrorised the Tigers at Brookvale on Friday night, scoring two tries, having a hand in several others and running for 300 metres.<\/p>\n
