B\ufeffulldogs<\/a> legend James Graham<\/a> has teed off on Eels second-rower Andrew Davey after Davey's criticism of the club's culture under Cameron Ciraldo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Davey, who played just two games at Canterbury under Ciraldo this season before moving to the Eels, said he "didn't like" the way the Bulldogs coach ran his ship.<\/p>\n

"It wasn't a culture that I fitted in with and it wasn't the style of coaching that I resonated with," he told News Corp.<\/p>\n

Graham took offence to Davey's comments, saying he was disgruntled due to being unable to break into Ciraldo's first team.<\/p>\n

"I don't like going after players, but Andrew Davey, he's put himself in the firing line," Graham told Triple M.<\/p>\n

\"James<\/p>\n

"I think the truth needs to come out in that situation. Andrew Davey came to the club thinking he was going to play every week and he got outworked by a 21-year-old called Jacob Preston, and he embarrassed him.<\/p>\n

"That's why Andrew Davey isn't happy, because he came under the pretence of, 'I'm going to play every week', and a 21-year-old put him in his place and he couldn't get in the team. So he kicks his toys and pisses off to Parramatta.<\/p>\n

"Unlucky mate. You didn't like it cause you weren't getting picked and a 21-year-old Jacob Preston \u2026. has shoved it up your arse, see ya later!\ufeff"<\/p>\n

\ufeffGraham praised the culture that Ciraldo is trying to build at Belmore, despite all the criticism levelled at the coach from those outside the club.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffIn terms of this incident where a player is late and is punished, as long as that's not personal, which I don't think it is, then it's on. That's how football clubs need to be run," he said.<\/p>\n

"You can't afford to be late to training. If it's not a personal attack you've got to suck it up, this is professional sport.<\/p>\n

"It's an incredibly young football team so you need to put in the hard work, you need to build standards.<\/p>\n
