History has been made with all 18 teams represented in the AFL<\/a>'s initial All Australian squad for the first time in league history.<\/p>\n

Despite the Eagles<\/a> and Kangaroos<\/a> both having seasons to forget, West Coast forward Oscar Allen and North spearhead Nick Larkey were both rewarded for career-best years.<\/p>\n

The Eagles and Kangaroos were two of five teams to have a single player in the squad, with the others being Geelong, Richmond and the Gold Coast.<\/p>\n

Minor premiers Collingwood were the most well-represented with five Magpies players making the squad of 44, headlined by second-year sensation Nick Daicos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of the 44 players selected, 28 are in line to make the first All Australian team of their careers.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Three players, Marcus Bontempelli<\/a>, Dustin Martin<\/a> and Tom Stewart, are in line to be selected to their fifth All Australian teams.<\/p>\n

The final team of 22 will be selected at the annual AFL awards ceremony on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n
