The Canberra Raiders<\/a> hopes of a deep push into the NRL<\/a>L finals have suffered a huge blow with Corey Horsburgh set for a stint on the sidelines.<\/p>\n

The Match Review Committee hit Horsburgh with a grade one shoulder charge, and offered him three weeks on the sidelines for a hit on Corey Jensen in the last minute of the Raiders 29-18 loss<\/a> to the Broncos<\/a> in Canberra.<\/p>\n

In the Broncos last set of six for the night, Horsburgh rushed out of the \ufeffRaiders line to put the hit on Jensen.<\/p>\n

It went unpenalised in live play \u2013 the only pause in action to allow Horsburgh to move off the mark and allow Jensen space to play the ball.<\/p>\n

The ban will rule him out until at least the preliminary finals, should the Raiders make it that far. However, if they take the charge to the judiciary and lose, Horsburgh will face an extra week, and a Grand Final return at the earliest. <\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Kotoni Staggs looks set to be ruled out of the Broncos blockbuster round 27 clash against the Storm, after he was also offered a one-match ban for dangerous contact on Jordan Rapana.<\/p>\n

Jared Waerea-Hargreaves was slapped with a monster ban for separate charges for a late hit on Api Koroisau<\/a>, and then for headbutting Stefano Utoikamanu in the resulting melee.<\/p>\n

Canberra's Zac Woolford got away with a fine for a crusher tackle on Kobe Hetherington, as did Jordan Rapana for tripping Selwyn Cobbo, and Luke Keary for a dangerous throw on John Bateman.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
