J\ufeffoey Manu<\/a>'s hamstring injury is a major blow for the Roosters<\/a> as they continue their push for the finals.<\/p>\n

Manu, filling in at fullback after James Tedesco suffered a concussion<\/a>, left the field in the first half of the Roosters' clash with Wests Tigers at Allianz Stadium when he clutched at his left hamstring when hitting the ball dead.<\/p>\n

The Roosters went on to win Saturday night's game 32-8.<\/p>\n

At half-time, Fox League reporter Matt Russell revealed the injury was low grade, but said he was "highly unlikely" to face the Rabbitohs in the final round of the regular season.<\/p>\n

Speaking before Russell's confirmation, Queensland great Corey Parker said he believed the injury could rule out Manu for a significant period of time. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"A soft-tissue injury this late in the season will probably rule him out (until the grand final). If they're able to get into a grand final – that's a mile away for them," Parker said.<\/p>\n

"A huge, huge blow for the Roosters and Joey Manu."<\/p>\n

The Tricolours climbed from 11th to 10th on the ladder in their comprehensive win against the Tigers.<\/p>\n
