Penrith<\/a> rookie Jesse McLean has been charged after\ufeff gifting the Eels<\/a> a possible eight-point try on Thursday night<\/a>.<\/p>\n

McLean was attempting to stop Parramatta winger Maika Sivo scoring his second try of the night, but his efforts were in vain.<\/p>\n

Sivo scored the try successfully but was left groggy after the McLean hit.\ufeff<\/p>\n

The Panthers youngster has now been charged by the NRL's match review committee with a careless high tackle and can accept a $1000 fine.<\/p>\n
