Latrell Mitchell<\/a> has spoken of his regret \ufeffat his one-match suspension as South Sydney<\/a> fight to play finals.<\/p>\n

The star fullback accepted the ban after he elbowed Tyson Frizell<\/a> in the back during the side's 29-10 loss.<\/p>\n

"I'm disappointed, not only \ufeffjust because of the game but also in myself," Mitchell told 9news.<\/p>\n

"I've worked really hard to get this stuff out of my game and then (my) brain snaps.<\/p>\n

"I've tried to mature a lot, I haven't had an incident since '21 in that incident with Joey Manu<\/a> so I've worked really hard to get myself back to playing footy and getting that stuff out of (my game), the grubby stuff."<\/p>\n

Mitchell went on to say there's no bad blood between him and Frizell over the incident. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"I messaged him straight after the game, I was very apologetic and he knows that," he said.<\/p>\n

South Sydney have the bye this weekend, with Mitchell missing the final round game against the Sydney Roosters. If the Rabbitohs lose it's unlikely they'll play finals, ending Mitchell's season. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The Origin gun spoke of his regret in missing that highly anticipated fixture. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"It's what people \ufeffbuy tickets for to come and see," he said.<\/p>\n

"I put bums on seats and that's just the game that everyone wants to come and watch.<\/p>\n

"We go back to that sin bin Sunday and that was just a game you want to be a part of and a game everyone wants to watch. It just burns me I can't be there to play that game."<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
