N\ufeffewcastle<\/a>'s dominant 29-10 victory over the Rabbitohs<\/a> is under scrutiny after Daniel Saifiti was allegedly awarded a try off an eight-tackle set.<\/p>\n

Sydney Morning Herald and 9News reporter Michael Chammas revealed the information during Nine's coverage of Sunday's second game.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffThere was a try in the 55th minute to Daniel Saifiti which was scored from an eight tackle set," Chammas said.<\/p>\n

"It was a seven tackle set, they got a set restart at the 20-metre line, they went down field and they scored a try to Daniel Saifiti. It was 12-4 at the time, a crucial time in the match."<\/p>\n

South Sydney boss Blake Solley spoke to the Herald about the alleged incident.<\/p>\n

"Make no mistake, the best team on the day won," Solly said.<\/p>\n

"The Knights deserved the two points, they were better and I don't think this altered the result. I would hate to do anything that takes credit away from the Knights and they way they performed.<\/p>\n
