Rugby league Immortal Andrew Johns<\/a> believes Canberra<\/a> will need to show significant improvement next week against Brisbane after they managed to stave off a brave Bulldogs<\/a> outfit on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Raiders managed to claim a 36-24 win<\/a> at home but with the score 12-all at half-time, they were on shaky ground for the majority of the match.<\/p>\n

Up against second placed Brisbane Broncos in round 26, Johns delivered an ultimatum for the side "to be better".<\/p>\n

"\ufeffThey got the job done, very similar to the Melbourne Storm on Saturday night when they beat the Dragons, they were quite flat but got the job done, got the win, that's all they wanted to do," he said on Nine's coverage.<\/p>\n

Currently the Raiders sit sixth on the ladder but are still in danger of dropping out of the top eight due to a horrendous \ufeff-108 points differential.<\/p>\n

Both sides went try for try in the first half with Matthew Timoko and Jarrod Croker scoring for the Raiders. Blake Wilson and Jacob Kiraz were the Bulldogs men crossing the line to keep the score level at half-time.<\/p>\n

The see-sawing affair continued after the break with Timoko scoring his double before Toby Sexton went over for his first Bulldogs try.<\/p>\n

From there though it was one-way traffic with the Raiders scoring three unanswered tries thanks to Nick Cotric, Jordan Rapana and Josh Papali'i.<\/p>\n
