Usman Khawaja<\/a> and David Warner<\/a> have delivered hilarious jibes at England, ahead of the Matildas<\/a> semi-final clash in the FIFA Women's World Cup.<\/p>\n

Fresh from the memories of a drawn Ashes series, the two batsmen re-opened healing wounds from the final Test.<\/p>\n

With Australia chasing 384 in the final innings at The Oval, Khawaja and Warner were cruising at 0-126 before a ball change caused mayhem.<\/p>\n

Umpires Joel Wilson and Kumar Dharmasena came under significant criticism<\/a> for their choice of ball, which brought about a shift in momentum to England who ultimately won.<\/p>\n

In wishing the Matildas good luck, Warner threw out a subtle warning on social media in light of the incident. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"Just keep an eye out in case the Poms ask to change the ball."<\/p>\n

Khawaja joined in on the fun, making reference to the Jubulani ball\ufeff, which was used for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.<\/p>\n

"They (sic) going to go with the 2010 'Jubulani' ball?," he tweeted.<\/p>\n

The Jubulani was notoriously difficult for goalkeepers to handle with Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon calling it "absolutely inadequate".<\/p>\n
