A\ufefffter weeks of speculation, Payne Haas<\/a> has re-signed with the Brisbane Broncos<\/a> for a further three years.<\/p>\n

The Broncos prop has been subject to speculation<\/a> over whether he'll join an NRL rival or switch codes to rugby union after months of negotiations with his current club.<\/p>\n

The new deal will keep him at Brisbane until the end of 2026, worth a reported $3.6 million.<\/p>\n

Haas' signing comes after \ufeffrival prop Tino Fa'asuamaleaui recently inked a 10-year $12m deal with the Titans.<\/p>\n

9news reporter Danny Weidler confirmed the news on Tuesday afternoon. <\/p>\n

"The most talked about person in rugby league in recent times has been Payne Haas (with) his contract situation," he told 9news. <\/p>\n

\ufeff"I can reveal to 9news right now that Payne Haas has done a new deal with the Broncos, great news for Brisbane. I believe it will be an upgraded deal from '24 to '26, so we're going to see Payne Haas with the Broncos around $1.2 million a year. <\/p>\n
