T\ufeffhree-time AFL<\/a> premiership legend Jack Riewoldt<\/a> has announced his retirement from football.<\/p>\n

Richmond<\/a> confirmed Riewoldt's retirement on Tuesday morning. Saturday's game against North Melbourne at the MCG will be his 347th and last.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old key forward – who has kicked 786 goals from 346 AFL games to date – won \ufeffthree grand finals with the Tigers in 2017, 2019, and 2020.<\/p>\n

He booted fives goals in the victorious 2019 grand final to help thump Greater Western Sydney.\ufeff<\/p>\n

He is also a three-time Coleman Medal winner.<\/p>\n

"I am ready for the next chapter, and I think the club is ready to regenerate and find a new path forward," Riewoldt said.<\/p>\n

"I never thought my journey would get this far or that I would be a part of anything like what I have been. But I am so thankful for everyone who has played a part."<\/p>\n

Riewoldt's retirement news comes only a week after fellow Tigers legend Trent Cotchin announced his plans to retire.<\/p>\n

Both Riewoldt and Cotchin will farewell the Melbourne fans \ufeffon Saturday afternoon at the MCG against the Kangaroos. Richmond's final game of the season is in Adelaide the following week.<\/p>\n
