Australian basketball great Andrew Bogut has revealed he will announce his playing future on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The former NBA star's future was clouded after he parted ways with the Sydney Kings earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Bogut, who played 59 games across two seasons with the Kings, has been weighing up whether to continue his career with the 2021 Tokyo Olympics around the corner.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 36-year-old teased fans on social media today with a cheeky tweet indicating that Tuesday would be the day where he makes a call on his future.<\/p>\n

But with Bogut parting ways Sydney, where he lands this season remains a mystery. Melbourne NBL clubs, United and Phoenix, have both declared Bogut will not be part of their squads for the upcoming 2020-21 season according to The Age.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

Just last week, Boomers coach Brian Goorjian revealed the former NBA No.1 draft pick would be an automatic selection into the squad should he elect to continue playing.<\/p>\n

"Andrew has tremendous pride, and he doesn't want to play if he feels that physically he is under the bar," Goorjian said.<\/p>\n

"It isn't a conditioning thing; it is just that your body moves to a certain point and only you as the player understands the level of competition and if his body can handle it.<\/p>\n

\"Andrew<\/p>\n

"So, in his mind he is thinking, 'What am I going to be like physically in the gold medal and am I up to that as far as an Andrew Bogut standard'.<\/p>\n

"The only person that can come to terms on that is him, so where I sit it is totally his call, but if Bogut puts his hand up, there is no way you are not going to select him.<\/p>\n
