Wests Tigers<\/a> coach Tim Sheens<\/a> has delivered a savage response over whether his Origin prop Stefano Utoikamanu will face problems after he was put on report \ufeffin the first half.<\/p>\n

Utoikamanu was judged to have raised his elbows towards Wayde Egan during a hit-up, with the hooker leaving the field for an HIA\ufeff and not returning.<\/p>\n

The Warriors<\/a> survived without him to win 30-22.<\/p>\n

Post-game Sheens was asked if Utoikamanu would have any concerns.<\/p>\n

"Better not have after what happened with Api," he replied.<\/p>\n

"That kid (Egan) didn't get hit in the head at all, he's gone, he's had some problems with his breathing \ufeffbut he hit him lower. It was not in the head itself.<\/p>\n

"I can't see all of a sudden it's a penalty, it hasn't been a penalty. One minute later there was another shot, (Addin) Fonua-Blake got one of our kids, not carrying the ball (then there was) nothing.<\/p>\n

"And there was another one and we finally got a penalty. Has the league changed its ruling on it? Api there was no penalty, no suspension, when it happened to him. Why is this a problem?"<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe Tigers' complaints with the refereeing didn't stop there, with injured star Adam Doueihi fired up on social media at his side being on the wrong count of a 11-5 penalty count.<\/p>\n

Post-game, Warriors coach Andrew Webster gave an update on Egan's condition. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"At this stage he's fine, he's gone to hospital for check up … it was more precautionary, \ufeffwhen you're hit in the throat and something goes wrong you want to be in hospital, (although) nothing has gone wrong," he said.<\/p>\n
